Grand Haven, Michigan...Borns developed a new website for Compass Automotive Group based in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Compass Automotive Group is a leading provider of engineered high-integrity aluminum and magnesium cast components to OEMs and Tier 1 automotive suppliers. Compass components provide performance in motion™ on vehicles from virtually all North American, Asian, and European automakers.

Compass was formed by Monomoy Capital Partners L.P., a $280 million private equity fund that makes controlling investments in middle market companies that require operational or financial restructuring. Monomoy seeks opportunities to continue Compass' growth and meet the needs of our customers worldwide.

Borns repurposed the performance in motion brand message as well as visual assets they developed for Alcoa Automotive Castings, who subsequently sold this business unit to Monomoy. Mike Mackens, global vice president of Compass Automotive Group, was impressed with the branding and marketing communications Borns originally created for Alcoa.
